Brief review of Mountain Mike's
« on: April 12, 2023, 12:30:22 AM »
I play a game with doordash where i pay full price about once a year and then 9 months later they get a jones for some more business and throw me some 50% off codes. Speaking as a survivor of the dotcom bubble, eff tech bros and their vulture capitalist buddies.

Been below average for a couple days, didn't want to cook, had them deliver me a medium Garlic Tuscan.

The main points:

It was reasonably good. No remarkable failures within the expectations of the style.

The default dough is a heavy American style dough. Must have been around 450g dough ball for a pizza that fit in a box that was not 14 inches. They do offer a thin crust.

The sliced black olives included two pits.

I've never found an olive pit on a pizza before in all of my years on this earth eating too much pizza and loving black olives. One would be remarkable. Two makes me wonder about their supplier.

Overall, would try again in the thin configuration, probably better dine-in.

I didn't bite down on either of them, and haven't contacted them. I don't even understand how you end up with pits in a can of sliced olives.
